I think when I first started to wear my plate and I went out to eat I would make sure I ate foods I was comfortable with. For instance I wouldn't in the beginning go to a steak restaurant because I would be worried that my plate would come out or I wouldn't have a fresh fruit salad with hard fruits like pears and things like that but what you learn to do is, for instance now when I got to a steak restaurant I make sure I cut up the steak quite small or there are other things to have. You can maybe have a steak at home until you feel more confident until you do build up how you are and how you feel with your plate, and how you eat with it in your mouth.
